I have been using this product for over 7 years and both loved and received compliments just on the fragrance alone, and even recommended it to others because of it. It also has always kept my hair plush and beautiful. They changed it this year and it is such a disappointment. It smells so generic and just isn't worth it anymore.

I recently bought a new bottle of this conditioner and was highly disappointed. I've been using this for YEARS and they decide to change the scent and the formula (which they say didn't change, but it used to be so much silkier ). So sad that I have to be on the hunt to find a new conditioner since sadly, this is the only herbal essences conditioner that worked on my hair.

I've used this product for many years and the results are amazing, but then I noticed the change of fragrance. I smelled it instantly and was disappointed in the new scent. The conditioner still works well but the scent makes me not want to purchase it. Recommended for the scent to switch back.

let me start by saying I absolutely loved this product before the ingredients were changed. I got a new bottle at the store last week and opened it today to use it. While in the shower I noticed the smell was not at all the same. It went from smelling like subtle pomegranate to smelling like over powering strawberry. I have migraines triggered by smell and before I even got out of the shower my head was throbbing and then I became nauseous as even when i was out of the shower the smell was still overwhelmingly strong. There should have been some notification about ingredients changing, I would never have bought this product had i known i had been changed. I would never recommend this product as it is now. I'm so disappointed in this product now and doubt I will be going for another Clairol product in the future it wouldn't be worth the future migraines that would be sure to follow.

I've been using this conditioner for about a year now and it has definitely become my favorite! It never fails to leave my tailbone length hair smooth, silky and tangle-free.

So ive been growing my hair out since winter 2012 it was right on my shoulders and now it's growing passed my chest and i used this and had no breakage or dead ends it made my hair feel like silk and made it shinier smoother and healthier i strayed from it for the longest time but never again its amazing and i use the shampoo and split end defense cream that go with it and they work wonders. And i love the smell :) This product doesnt magically make hair grow faster but it prevents breakage and dead ends so it does help hair grow but dont expect drastic results a week later like with any good method it takes time to see a drastic change. I'd say if you're growing your hair out give it atleast three months to see a difference and also this is the only conditioner i'll use on my hair from now bc it works so why ruin a good thing. And if you're looking for a conditioner that helps u grow your hair out this is definitely the one.

I'm african american and have extremely curly hair that's dense but with some fine strands that get caught on others (lots of knots and tangles) so when it comes time to detangle I would sometimes dread it. This stuff allows me to detangle my hair in about 10 min and it smells AMAZING!! I'm glad I took the leap of faith and bought the huge bottle

I had used this conditioner once a couple years ago because I loved the smell and the packaging, but it was only a little bit moisturizing and I have pretty thick, fizzy hair that needs a little extra moisture, so I never re-purchased it. I was at the store and noticed the new packaging next to bottles with the old packaging, and I compared the ingredients, and THANKFULLY the conditioner (and shampoo too!) have been updated, not just the packaging has changed! The conditioner is more moisturizing and leaves hair shinier than before but still weightless. The shampoo is gentler than before with less harsh sulfates (changed from a couple of types of ammonium sulfate to sodium sulfate which is gentler). I am very VERY happy with these products now, and I plan to repurchase them when they run out!

This works very well with the shampoo. I feel that I do not need to put that much in my hair. I have really thick hair and I'm trying to grow it out so I hope this does the trick! I'm buying the Long Relationship split end protector tomorrow. I am so excited!
