I've had this for four years and it still works great. No complaints about quality, I haven't had issues with the lid or handle falling off.

Comments about Brita Grand Water Filter Pitcher, Green, 10 Cups, 1 ea:
So The plastic is somewhat thin, but I don't think it adversely effects quality. It has a nice handle. The green insert piece is somewhat hard to pull out because it does sit very flush (which is a good thing). The filters do come with some escaped charcoal, but it's perfectly normal and the bottom of the filters have fine mesh to make sure none get into your water, even though they same some on the bottom of the filtered water is perfectly fine. I used to have a PUR filter, and the water in the Brita tastes much better. I was very impressed.
Comments about Brita Grand Water Filter Pitcher, Green, 10 Cups, 1 ea:
The top of the pitcher NEVER stays on, it barely secures itself to the rest of the pitcher. Also, the top water flap is constantly coming off as well.I only got this because I thought it looked cool and I liked that it came in green. What a waste of [$].
Comments about Brita Grand Water Filter Pitcher, Green, 10 Cups, 1 ea:
I bought this style as a replacement for my original Brita Pitcher Filter and was so disappointed. Lid would not stay on while pouring and handle snap apart within 30 days of use. DO NOT BUY!!
Your water filter pitcher can be ready to use in a few steps. Wash your hands before touching the filter, then flush it with cold water for 15 seconds. Insert the filter into the reservoir. Add cold tap water. The first 3 pitchers of filtered water may contain carbon dust. Use on plants or discard. Replace the water filter every 40 gallons or 2 months. Substances reduced may not be in all users' water.
