I would go get a perm or use another product....Read complete review Okay so if your like me and you thought that this would GIVE you the tousles you've been dreaming of, your dearly mistaken. I would go get a perm or use another product. This is FOR people who have hard to manage tousles. Thankfully, before I cut my hair -clenches fists- I had a soft wave through my hair and occasionally, soft tousles. So when I used this stuff, It brought a little bit of it out. Not a lot, I had to use my flat iron to curl to make big tousles, but it was beneficial for the time and if it worked for me who has some-what pin-straight hair, then for someone who has real tousles who are big, this will work great. So I bought a set of the shampoo & conditioner, Totally Twisted hair gel and the mousse. Altogether, even though they arent all in the same collection, work very well. I have color treated hair and it works great. Also, the smell is just amazing. I had my friend come over a few nights ago and he just loved it (im a female haha). So I would definitely recommend this to anyone. Heres what I do to style my hair everyday... ;use shampoo and conditioner ;wrap towel around your head for a 1 minute (I have thin mid length hair so if you have thick, long hair then id leave it up longer. basically leave it up until its moist and not dripping) ;put mousse in hair. make sure to massage into roots and down to the ends. you can never use too little mousse, but you can always use too much. ;put a dimes worth (again, i have midlength, thin hair so this will vary) of Totally Twisted hair gel or whatever haha into your hair. massage it all over. For straight hair: ;keep combing hair so that it doesnt curl or flip. For tousled hair: ; twist hair into bits all around your head. blow dry with a diffuser. ;make sure not to play with too much, but you'll want to move the curls around so you dont look like Shirley Temple ;) ;spray with hairspray. any kind works, but if you want the scent, use Tousle me softly. Unfortunately, it was discontinued!! I have tried the spray gel. It gives good hold, but no matter how careful I am, it gets all over the place when spraying. I live in the hope that my old TMS #1 hold will return in a squeeze tube. Until then, once I've used all the spray I have, I'll have to see if another brand has something similar to the old gel, but in a tube. Would love to know if HE has any of the TMS gel in the tubs left somewhere in warehouse. I'd buy several containers from them!! Whatever you guys did to change it, I love it! The scent is so much more pleasant. I can't stop smelling my hair. This is now my go to hairspray. My hair is so touchable after using it, but it still holds amazingly well for my waves and even for when I wrap my hair for tighter curls. It's changed packaging a few times and now it's not in any of my local grocery stores. Please bring it back! I've tried countless other brands and this one is still the best! I hate how hard it is to wash out hairspray. I use this everyday. It holds your curls with a natural look and keeps frizz away. Most products are too heavy and weigh my hair down. This is the only product I have found that is PERFECT. I spray it on damp hair and comb into place. Once it's dry, I brush through and my hair will stay that way all day. And I live in hot, humid Florida! If I want waves, I put my lightly damp or dry hair in a bun. Spray all over, wait 10 minutes and take down. Lightly finger comb, spritz lightly and it's done. PLEASE don't quit making this product.
