Cooling feeling is horrable. However, if you stay late night and need to keep your eyes open, this is the best thing! This cooling effect makes you wake up.

I bought this when it was a sale item and I learned there must be a reason. The "cooling" effect is not a good feeling when it comes to your eyes. It was such a strange and unpleasant experience that I only used it one time.

I LOVE Clear Eyes, but this is more like a burning feeling than cooling. It seems a bit thicker, which is nice, but cooling it's not. I will look for the old version.

I purchased this product because I'm very allergic to fresh cut grass and my eyes are always irritated during the summer.

These drops definitely stop your eyes from tearing and remove the red. The "cooling" effect was initially uncomfortable and seems to have a mild numbing agent. My eyes adjusted to these being a strong drop and the product is very helpful. However, when the red and itch come back, as it does on a bad allergy day, this product left my eyes too dry because it didn't lubricate enough with the first use.

I LOVE that it "wakes up" my half-closed, droopy, allergic eyes and immediately made my eyes feel back to normal! That "waking up"/"HELLO" feeling is so pleasant for an allergy sufferer and, not without merit, the selling point of these new drops but, it didn't last long enough for me. The instructions say to not use these more than 4 times/day but, they were not described as medicinal as they are. It's a good product but, you do want to have a lubricating drop stocked in case you find it too drying.

I minus-ed one star for the product labeling and also because it meaning to keep allergic eyes feeling fresh, this product works better with a second, mild drop. Of course, that makes treating allergic eyes a little more expensive than using just one eye drop.

I would only recommend this product with caution because it is very strong. Knowing it is stronger at drying allergic eyes than it is at lubricating itchy eyes and having a soother drop on hand will make the initial cool feeling of the drop an easier experience for when nothing else relieves your eyes or you need a very fast acting, numbing-type drop.

(There is also another cooling drop made by Clear Eyes that is not for allergies but, I haven't tried that one. I really do like this product but since no one else has posted a review, I'm hesitant to strongly recommend this on this page because the packaging of the other one is similar - I would NOT use this one for non-allergy/non-head cold symptoms! Warnings also state people with narrow angle glaucoma should NOT use this product)
