You know it hurts them, and you feel so helpless, using this oil helps them AND you feel a little better. I warm the bottle w/hot water in a coffee mug and we do a few drops in each ear & put a lil cotton there (no the cotton never stays there very long) and he smells like a garlic knot for awhile... but we've done this each time he's started rubbing at his ears when teething (i think it's all connected) and so far it's been effective (been doing this for at least 5 months he's almost a year now)... it's not harmful, i think it's soothing and it certainly couldnt hurt any.... The main comment I have on it is that this stuff really does smell bad. Even small residues of it are noticeably bad smelling. That being said though, I might still try it again sometime at a warmer temperature - maybe right before I plan to take a shower. Best Uses Comments about Herbs for Kids Willow / Garlic Ear Oil, 1 fl oz: I have always had ear aches and sinus infections. My Mom looked for remedies for the ear aches and I've continued the search as an adult. This is the first thing that's given me true and quick relief. I hate having cotton stuffed in my ear, but had to because the smell was really overwhelming and started to make me nauseated. It worked tremendously well and I know now to use a cotton ball along with it. Kids say it provides relief for them as well! Comments about Herbs for Kids Willow / Garlic Ear Oil, 1 fl oz: I tried this after hearing about it on a Doctor's show. I used it on myself when I started having fluid on my ears, and always progress into an ear infection. This was the first time I was able to stop it from progressing using a natural product, so yes I would recommend it. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Cons Best Uses Comments about Herbs for Kids Willow / Garlic Ear Oil, 1 fl oz: THis product is great! My son who is 3.5 had a bad ear infection. It started first in one ear and than another I used this product and also Boric acid ( couple drops in both ears) and also immunity support to help his body fight the infection. I think even without Boric acid it would have worked just as great!!! I really didn't want to give him antibiotics, so u really have to be patient. Both ears completely healed on the 7th day. Fever came down on its own by 6th day. Praise God, No antibiotics! Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Comments about Herbs for Kids Willow / Garlic Ear Oil, 1 fl oz: I had the ear ache from [*]! My ear popped, hurt, made odd noises, you name it, it happened. It also felt "wet". I have had ear issues since I was a small child, and I always use ear plugs in the shower, so it couldn't have been water. I was told it was a clogged Eustacian tube...a few months before, I had a major sinus infection, and this was left over. I used antibiotics and pain meds to no avail. I finally read great reviews about this product, and I bought a bottle. I used it according to the label. It worked clearing my ears withing 3 days, no kidding! You can smell the garlic, but no one else can, unless they are smelling of your ear, so don't worry. Comments about Herbs for Kids Willow / Garlic Ear Oil, 1 fl oz: It works. It is a good product. However, it is almost embarrassing to walk around with that strong garlic restaurant like scent in the year. (3 of 3 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? Comments about Herbs for Kids Willow / Garlic Ear Oil, 1 fl oz: This is the most soothing product for irritated ears. This product always makes my ears feel so much better when I use it. I usually use it for mild ear aches or irritation in my ears after swimming or sinus infection. I started using it after I experienced my first full-blown ear infection as an adult. Ever since that time,I use a treatment or two of this ear oil and I haven't had any more major ear infections. Make sure you heat it up for the best effect. And lay down while putting it in your ears and let it soak in for a while. It does smell very strongly of garlic, but the relief in your ears is worth it.
