I experienced some difficulty with wound healing after having a wide excision of a skin cancer. It kept getting infected. Had antibiotics twice, 10 days each. Was using an another antibiotic ointment. Finally someone at the clinic mentioned that another patient having the same difficulty tried this product, and healing took place very quickly when switching over to silver solution. So I decided to try it, and within a couple of days it was healed to a greater degree than in the 3 months prior to using it. This product is amazing as far as my experience with it goes. I plan on keeping some on hand in my 1st aid drawer for cuts, scrapes, etc. I highly recommend! And it does not sting or burn in any way.
I am prone to detergent burns on my hands. This is my go to product for these issues. It stops the pain, heals the burn faster and helps,with scarring. Wish they made this product in a larger size tube!
I have been using this product for years to help heal cuts, my skin post stitches etc...I apply silver solution and keep it covered with a non-stick pad or adhesive bandage and it works great. I feel that doing this helps in reducing any scarring as my skin heals. Also it's not greasy like other topical ointments.
I have thin skin and therefore routinely have skin tears. In all cases, after a period of wound treatment with antibiotic creams, I always follow up with this silver solution because my skin heals faster. There is nothing like it.
Clean wound with water and blot dry. Apply a generous amount of gel to the affected area, making sure to cover beyond wound edges. Cover with a bandage. Repeat every 1-3 days, or when wound is no longer moist. To prevent freezing, store at room temperature. Store out of direct light.
