I love the ceramic curling iron. It works fine for my thinning hair with some natural curl & adds just enough added curl to hold my style throughout the day with the use of a little hair spray. I have been somewhat disappointed with this particular iron because the spring does not hold shorter hairs very tight & the hair slides through when I turn the iron once or twice. I have had other curling irons in the past that have held the hair snug. Is there any help for this type of problem?
The ceramic covering is great for keeping free of any buildup from products I use on my hair, such as gels & hair spray.

At first, I was a bit scared to get a 1/2" curling iron because I thought it would make the curls too small and make my hair look like a big frizzy mess. It heated up really fast, my hair didn't get caught in the clamp, and the swivel cord made rotating the iron easy. The best part of this product was the wide tip at the end that kept me from burning my fingers.

If you want looser curls, pull on your curls right after you've unclasped it from the iron. You can also make nice waves by clamping your hair in the iron rotating it once and slowly pulling it through. Be careful to not pull too hard especially by your ends.

This curling iron heats quickly and curls effectively. My hair is between short and medium length, and the 1/2" barrel works well. Love the swivel cord that doesn't get tangled. The heat selection dial is also very useful. My only complaint is the placement/size of the on-off buttons. I constantly hit the off button in the course of curling my hair. Overall, a good product.
