I am a hairstylist, and have used a Vidal Sassoon Hot Air Styler exactly like this for almost 20 years! The barrel finally gave out and I had no choice to replace it. I couldn't find the exact one anywhere... after shopping and finding similar stylers for anywhere from $49 to $100, I did a search and found it at Drugstore.com for under $12. What a relief! This little Gem does the job. The amount of heat is perfect, the curl size is perfect, it will smooth the frizzies, give lift, and last for simply years. Best value and tool around, at least for my needs! I'm so happy I finally found a replacement for my old one.

I had an identical hot air brush 3/4 inch barrel that lasted for years! Although I was disappointed I could not find another 3/4 inch barrel, it fits okay on this 1 inch barrel! Sooo happy about it!

This brush is the answer for me when my hair is shorter. I have fine & limp hair and after a quick "shot" of my regular blow dryer, I use this to shape my style, and it gives just enough lift so I can skip the curling iron step. I do use a heat protector spray before I use the brush and it has damaged my hair much less than using a curling iron. Will keep using it when my hair is shorter. (I also have a similar brush with a larger diameter when my hair gets longer in the winter) I have arthritis in my hands and this is easy for me to use, even when my arthritis is acting up.

After washing and putting on styling product, I dry my hair (a section at a time) with the air styler. That leaves my hair smooth with a little wave. If I want to go straighter, I then use a flat iron.
However, I do have a two inch barrel from one of these that I exchange. I don't think you can find them anymore. The one inch works OK, just takes a little longer.

Advertised as a 250W blow brush. It fulfills
that specification, but I wish I could find one with more blow power--about 600W would be ideal.
I find I need to use a regular blow dryer first and then use this for styling only.

I have permed for years and decided to stop. This hot air styling brush gives my hair body and curls the ends under perfectly. I need one that's 1/2" now. Great styling tool and I'm glad I purchased it.

This is a great hair styling brush. So light and easy to use. I've tried many other brands but this one is the best. Just what I have been looking for. It doesn't get very hot so it is gentle to thinning hair.

Tis curler is great for quick curls, and doesn't take long to use. I really like it!

The barrel is small and it takes too long to dry the hair. By the time the hair was dry it was limp and lifeless. InStyler works great. I won't try to switch again.
