Comes out of the bottle looking dark but goes on very sheer and buildable so it is very difficult to end up with a fake tan. I've used it mixed with bb cream for an all over glow and dotted onto the high parts of my face. Bottle is small but will last forever since a little product goes a long way. I apply it along with my sunscreen to give some color to my tanless skin. When applied along with the sunscreen cream, it applies easily, dries fast and is non-sticky. The only problem is that my face is a little red and flushed at times and this bronzer is more red than golden. This can make me look sunburned (not what I want). I have found that yellow based browns work best for me. The best bronzer I found was "Talk to the Tan" by Benefit - a nice GOLDEN brown color - but, of course it has been discontinued. It blends well with makeup and gives a nice bronze tint. It never looks artificial. Comments about Bonne Bell Bronzing Gel, Golden Tan 416, 1.1 fl oz: This gel "bronzer" is useful just as a wonderful blush. I have light colored Caucasian skin. I wear this as a cheek color only. It gives a very natural "sun-kissed" glow. It goes on very slippery, and a little goes a long way! I can even apply it over my powder foundation without any "drag" or clumping. Highly recommend!
