Well, I do not have oily skin normally but, Living in this South Florida Heat and Humidity in the summer has been making my face get oily! I used regular dept. store powder just after my foundation but, It wasn't really working on getting rid of the oil. I read about this product and I went and got it and I have to say I love it! For [$] you can't go wrong. I apply it right after my Foundation in the morning and I check around 3 pm and I wasn't near as oily as I used to. I re- applied a bit on my T-zone and it was gone! Its Great and Light so, not much coverage but, it blends well with your make up and doesn't get "cakey"!

I have oily skin and have tried all kinds of expensive oil control powders. I continue to come back to this one. It is gentle on my skin and does a good job at controling the oil on my face. It doesn't feel heavy and doesn't cause any breakouts.

In the past 2 wks I have tried every powder you can buy in the drugstore & also ventured out to a dept store & purchased a pwdr which I did not like. I have used the same powder for 10+ yrs & it has now been discontinued! :-( On my last trip to the store I saw Maybelline Prsd Powder & grabbed it. When I tried this I was amazed at how much it reminded me of my old powder. I was so thrilled to have finally found a pwdr I liked! After I apply Olay Complete Moisturizer 4 combo/oily skn I apply foundation (Revlon Colorstay-4 oily skn)and then this pwdr. This powder does not clump on my foundation & gives a beautiful finish....very soft & smooth. I bought the lightest shade since i'm fair skinned, but I thk I will buy the nxt shade drkr to see how drk it really looks on me....since this powder is translucent! I highly recommend this if you have oily, acne-prone skin (like mine). The best thing is after applying I don't look like an Oompa-Loompa hrs later like half the powders I tried! What a relief! I hope they nevr discontinue this b/c I have no other powders left to try! PLEASE try this...its GREAT! TWO THUMBS UP MAYBELLINE!!!!!!!

Inexpensive compared to department store brands yet leaves my face looking and feeling velvety smooth.

I am so pleased with this powder. I have a pretty physical job and kept getting super shiny within an hour. It was gross! But after buying and using this powder, I can usually make it through the workday without serious shine. (only a little shine, after several hours, and easily blotted away with tissue) Now I'm not so self-conscious anymore. I am very very satisfied, and would absolutely recommend this to anyone.

This is the best powder I have found for my sensitive skin. I have no reaction at all. The ivory shade is a perfect match for my skin tone, and it keeps my skin looking fresh for 4 or 5 hours before I need to reapply.

Excellent product! This powder really controls oil well and even offers a little coverage. It keeps my usually oily T zone looking matte for hours, and my skin is extremely oily. I'm shocked at its high level of performance. I've tried powders that cost five this one, but this powder is the best at controlling oil so far. Also, this doesn't turn dark or orange after wear like many powders can. It also doesn't irritate my sensitive skin either.

Better than department store brands. Controls the oil without looking like makeup. I don't know how they do it, but I put this stuff on and my color looks even, but I look like I'm not wearing face makeup. I hope they never stop making this because the price is great, too. I like this better than Lancome or Benefit or even Bare Escentuals. WOW.

I usually can use an ivory shade in most powders, but found this one to be too light, almost white.
