When it is first applied, it has a strong alcohol smell. Once the alcohol evaporates, it leaves a pleasant smell. As for killing germs, I suppose it works since it is mostly alcohol. I like it better then the regular scent.
Place enough product in your palm to thoroughly cover your hands. Rub hands together briskly until dry. Children under 6 years of age should be supervised when using Purell. Do not store above 110°F (43°C). May discolor certain fabrics or surfaces.
