I began to use this product when I became bed-bound and wheelchair bound following an accident My skin was becoming dry and pressure damaged. My daugfhter saw this product and purchased it for me. My skin is now in perfect condition and I have continued to use it after every bath or shower for six years now and it has never failed to work perfectly. I thought it sligfhtly expensive, however, after seeing the continuing excellent results, I know it to be well worth the price. We used it for diaper rash on my grandaughter with excellent results. I highly recommend it and have done so to many friends and family members.

The old formula was thick and rich and smooth... awesome. This new formula is terrible. It is thin and runny. You have to use more of it and therefore it doesn't last as long. The old formula also smelled better and melted into your skin beautifully. This new stuff doesn't absorb as easily. I don't know what the company was thinking. Why fix something that isn't broken? PLEASE go back to the original!!!!!

Alas, it's just not the same. I hope the feedback here leads to a change in the formula. What a huge difference from the original formula, which was hands down the best moisturizer I had ever used - including the incredible smell. I don't mind the new smell as other reviewers have, but it's still not dreamy like the origninal. My six year-old rejected the smell of the "new & improved" - said I smelled bad. :( I also think the original one, which was a thicker consistency, lasted longer. Bad move to have changed this beloved product.

I loved the old product. This has a runnier texture. The smell has overtones of honey and almond, with an undertone of rancid oil. This doesn't keep my skin moisturized. I'll never buy this again. Ever.

This lotion used to be amazing, but they've wrecked it! It smelled like heaven and moisturized like nothing else. Guess I'll have to make my own. I hope I can find that fragrance somewhere.

I have been using this product for years and used to love it. The new and improved product is awful. It has a bad smell and it is not the consistency of body butter. It is more like a regular body creme. I will no longer buy this product and am looking for a replacement.

this is nothing like the original Burts Bees body butter. wow it didnt take long for Clorox to ruin this brand.

I hate the new improved Burt's Bees Honey and Shea body butter. The smell and consistency are different and I will never buy it again.

Yes, as the review says above, Burt's has changed the formulation, and the "new" version is smellier and is not true "butter" but more just plain moisturizer. I am just not sure what I am going to use in the winter now - the old formulation was the only moisturizer that actually worked.
