I like most of the Burt's Bees line, but this lotion has an odd smell. It reminds me of a rental car that somebody smoked in, and then tried to cover up with lots of perfume. Or rancid coconut oil. Basically it smells dirty/rancid, not fresh and clean.

I really like this as a winter body lotion. I've been using it daily after my shower. It has a pleasant smell, similar to most Burt's Bees products. It provides deep moisture that lasts and sinks in very quickly. I love that it is free of nasty chemicals.

For other fans of Burt's Bees lotions, I LOVE the pump which is not available in our stores. Drugstore.com is the only source I've seen. So much remains in the tube container after you have squeezed out everything squeezeable.

This lotion is pure perfection, in the winter. During the cold weather months, my skin gets so dry it cracks. This lotion can reverse that in in a fairly short time, and completely prevent it if I start using it soon enough. However the pump in the bottle isn't completely effective for a lotion as thick as this. Once you get down to the last quarter of the bottle, it doesn't work at all. It would be better if it was on a large tube.

Light coconut/vanilla fragrance. A little goes along way. I will continue to by this lotion in bulk orders so I never run out.

I love Burts Bees products, but was a little disappointed at this one. Although marketed for extra dry skin, my husband and I (who both have dry skin) found it comparable to other normal lotions. We did not find that it had any real lasting effects to ease our dry skin.

I am a Burt's Bees fan. I love the quality, the refusal to use artificial ingredients and harmful chemicals. I first fell in love with the scent of this lotion - cocoa butter overtones. I continue to use it because it is very hydrating to my very dry skin. For anytime use but especially great immediately after a bath or shower.
