I don't understand the that this smells too strong! Honestly, the first time I walked in the front door of my 1050 sq ft 2 BR apartment after placing three of these (1 in the front bah, one in my son's room and one in the far side of the living room) it smelled like a load of laundry was drying with fabric softener. Two weeks later I am still enjoying the clean smell and plan to keep these stocked up to replace regularly.

Ladies, I'm sorry to say but you must be putting it in the wrong way. They have scented my entire room which is a descent size. I absolutely love the scents I've tried thus far. I will continue to purchase.

Aroma is very important to me, and I luuuuuv the original Gain scent in laundry and dish detergent, fabric softener, cleaning products and room spray...so I was very excited to see it in this convenient form for scenting my rooms. But, it just didn't make the grade. Gave it 2 stars for the wonderful fragrance, but strength was not powerful enough to be effective in medium size room. Perhaps in a smaller space such as a closet. I might try it one more time just to be sure that I didn't get a defective one. :-(

I love the Febreze Gain line so I was happy to see an item that didn't require a plug or anything. I bought this specifically for my tiny bathroom. I had it open all the way, and I never smelled anything! There was a faint smell when you stuck it up to your nose, but that was it! Very disappointing.
