A great volumizer, as with most waterproof, a little more difficult to remove. I like that it comes in brown/black, a more natural color for me.

I'm lucky enough to have long eyelashes, but they straighten out with normal mascara. I have to use waterproof to hold the curl. I also teach 10+ fitness classes per week, and wear makeup to the gym (so sue me. I'm a fair blond and need all the help I can get.) This is the PERFECT shade of brown /black, not too light as to look odd, not too dark to look harsh. Outstanding at staying put, and I sweat like a man. Holds curl perfectly. I've tried everything, and I mean everything - high to low end. The only other ones I'd recommend are Stila Stay All Day or Maybelline Cat Eyes, but they only come in black and are better for when you need more definition. You will absolutely need a waterproof oil and water type of remover - L'oreal and Almay make good ones. I stock up on this because if they ever discontinue I will just die! Try it!

Happy I found this again since my retailer no longer carries this particlar type. They only cater to the younger set who want LOTS of makeup. Myself, I like the natural look of thicker/longer lashes without looking fake. This provides just that and is waterproof! The only thing I wish it wouldn't do, is get too much maskera on the brush after a few uses. (with only one swipe too) I can wipe it off and back into the tube so it isn't wasted, but it creates the problem again each time after that. So, they are generous with the volume they give you but for me I would like it to be let out slower. Still like this better then the Maybalene I used to use.

This mascara is nearly as good as my old favorite that is not made anymore. Fairly water resistant - though not reliably waterPROOF. It doesn't run, but will smudge more than I would like if I swim or shower with it on. Overall, It's my go-to mascara for all types of occasions. I like the black for evenings or when I want more contrast, and I like the Black Brown for a softer, lower contrast look - like while I'm at work.

I have short, sparse lashes but after using this mascara for just a few weeks, I can already see a difference. It looks great on, but even when I'm applying it first thing in the morning, my lashes already look longer and fuller than they were before I found this. It doesn't wash off great, but I can work around that.

eyelash curler first, makes lashes long and thicker, it didn't last for me and this was only for an evening, not for a whole day. I wasn't wearing it as a waterproof, it just was the only mascara I had.

There was another negative review and I should have paid attention. This is bad stuff. Worst raccoon eyes ever. Wish I hadn't spent any $$ on it.

This is such a great mascara. I have tried several brands but this is long lasting and the only one I will purchase anymore. You will be amazed at the difference you see when you use L'Oreal.
