Comments about Sentry Fiproguard FiproGuard for Cats, 3 ea:
This product is just as effective and gentle as the more expensive flea/tick medications. I have used several times on my cat and it has worked wonderfully, no side effects. Great product and great price!
Comments about Sentry Fiproguard FiproGuard for Cats, 3 ea:
I have a "herd" of indoor cats and one tamed, ferral outdoor cat ranging in age from 1 to 17 years. This product works very well on all of them. It's very easy to apply and doesn't leave that nasty, greasy spot that so many others do. Best of all is it's low price. I can afford to use it as needed.

Comments about Sentry Fiproguard FiproGuard for Cats, 3 ea:
I used this product to relieve a medium flea infestation on my 2 outdoor/indoor cats. I did not want to spray my pets with poisons, which I would get on my hands after petting them, so at first I tried light spraying of the environment with Cedar oil and Clove oil (natural and non-toxic). Both noticeably lessened the population for 3-5 days, but did not eliminate the fleas, they just kept coming back, even with regular daily vacuuming. So I discovered Precor (methoprene) which has no effect on animals, but is an insect growth regulator, to kill the egg, and larval stages of the fleas. Pupal stages can remain inactive but alive for up to a year, and are protected by their cocoons from the sprays, but the Precor stays in the environment for 7 months then will need another spray. The FiproGuard (fipronil) applied directly to the cat's skin between the shoulder blades, killed the adult fleas on the cats as well as new fleas brought in from outside. The dose is only about 2 drops for my XL cats, so it did not even leave a greasy spot. They were unable to really lick it off as they do with other larger dose insecticides. Usually what you put ON a cat, you put IN a cat- so I was less concerned with internal overdose of poison with FiproGuard. I noticed dead fleas falling off my cats within 2-3 days of application, and much less scratching and itching, loss of hair, etc. Haven't seen a flea in a week, whereas I was seeing several dozen per day. Once fleas are in your home, they are extremely difficult to get rid of. I found FiproGuard a necessary part of my regimen.
Comments about Sentry Fiproguard FiproGuard for Cats, 3 ea:
I like the fact that it is just a little drop that goes on the cat and it doesn't leave the cat hair greasy like some of the other products available. The cats don't mind it at all.
Remove product tubes from the package. Separate one tube from the others. Holding the tube with notched end pointing up and away from the face and body, cut off the narrow end at the notches with scissors. Do not apply more often than once every 4 weeks. Frequency of Application: Use FiproGuard monthly for complete control of flea, tick, and chewing lice infestations. Studies show that FiproGuard kills adult fleas for up to three months. Apply monthly if your cat is at high risk for flea reinfestation. Apply monthly to control ticks and chewing lice. FiproGuard remains effective even after bathing, water immersion, or exposure to sunlight. Allow treated area to dry thoroughly. Do not reapply for 4 weeks. For all cats of at least 8 weeks of age. Apply one tube as a spot on the cat's back between the shoulder blades. Pesticide Storage: Do not remove tube from the pack until ready to use.
