This stuff is bad news! I am a forty-something who has hormonal acne and I have tried darn near everything. This gel stings and irritates skin almost immediately. Afterwards, my skin turned red and flaked for days after use but the pimple remained and continued its course as it would have without treatment.

I have super oily skin and this is literally the first time that I stopped using a product due to irritation. It stings, burns and dries up the skin and leaves my face red. It also doesn't help acne so I say skip this one.

I'm loving all the Alba products I've tried so far. I ordered this because I get a lot of acne on my chin despite the fact I'm in my mid 30's. This stuff is gentle enough to use more than once a day but strong enough to help knock out those blemishes. It hasn't left m y skin dry or flakey. Goes on clear and dries nicely.

I have been using this for awhile after cleansing, and exfoliating. I use on my nose and chin where I am oily, and have blackheads and large pores. My pores look smaller than when I dont use and I have less blackheads, and whiteheads. This goes on totally clear and dries fast with no stickiness, or flaking, or residue of any kind. Works well under makeup and for night as well. I use this everyday under a light moisturizer, and no drying or irritation like with other gel acne treatments
