The brush on this is a lot larger than it appears and the bristles are not compact, but very loose. I feel like this is more of a finishing/powder brush rather than a traditional kabuki.

I bought to this brush mostly for a quick application of loose powder, I like the shape of it, is big enough to apply product quickly, is not very dense, I feel it applies the right amount of loose powder to set my foundation but is not as soft as I would expect for synthetic brush, I read some good reviews so I was expecting it to be much better, it pinches me when I use it, is not comfortable to use for me, I regret ordering it :/

I love this Kabuki brush, it's so smooth and helps me achieve an even tone. I use it with powder makeup and it distributes evenly.

Just as good as certain name brand brushes that cost $30-plus dollars. Very soft, dense, and doesn't shed. Can be used for just about anything. Highly recommend. Loving Elf's brushes, so nice not to have to pay ridiculous prices for good quality products.

I use this brush every morning. It does its job! First, I apply e.l.f. HD powder all over my face and then with this same brush I apply my powder foundation. My face stays matte for a good 6 hours. I have combination skin, mainly oily in the T-zone.

I was really shocked at the quality of this brush because it it so inexpensive. I did have a couple of bristles come out in the first couple of uses but that doesn't happen anymore. Overall, great brush and you just can't beat the price!

I use my e.l.f. Kabuki to apply my mineral powder foundation. At first the bristles feel like it's a bit too long and that I would have to apply several layers to build coverage. But I was quite surprised that it held the product quite well and I managed a medium coverage quite quickly, which is great since I'm usually in a rush in the morning.

Another plus point is that the bristles are black and I can clearly see how much product is on the brush and if it's unevenly spread. AND... no funky smell, the kind you get with new brushes.

The only negative point (to me at least) is that the handle is a bit too thin, which makes the grip slightly challenging... not too big of a deal, though.
