matte black and very mordern. It's about 3.75 inch tall with a 3" by 3" opening. Good for storing makeup brushes. Overall very good product for the price.

This product has a nice, sturdy design. As another reviewer mentioned, the bottom of the holder is comprised of non-slip rubber so it stays put. I keep it on my bedside table to store my nighttime hand lotion and lip balm and it works just fine for this purpose. My only complaint is that I wish it was a little larger and had a divider down the middle to separate it into compartments.

This is a really cute little brush, pencil holder that I put all of my most frequently used items in. I have a big beauty box on a shelf full of products, but it's nice to have something to pull frequently used items from. It is simply designed, attractive, and has a little bit of grip ( the bottom is a med-hard rubber) on the bottom so it won't easily be knocked over or slide around on your counter top.
