clumps as bad as any mascara ever has. does not separate & define lashes, just goo's them up. and i don't like the gray color.

For a long time I was going with the excellently priced MaxFactor 2000 Calorie and was more or less content. I recently bought a tube of Voluminous and really found it superior. No other product beats it for volume. My eyes are framed with luxurious, thick, flirtatious lashes. It does clump. You just have to brush it out with an eyelash comb or if it is evening, just leave it clumpy -- it's pretty from a distance! It doesn't harden and flake like other brands but does get sort of gummy by the end of the day. If you like a very dramatic mascara, this is your best bet at any price.

Like another reviewer said, I keep coming back to this mascara. I don't know why I feel the need to always experiment with other ones because this one has consistently been the best. My biggest pet peeve with other mascara is that it they're too liquid-y so they have to dry after you put them on and once they do they become brittle and flake. And this usually causes my eye lashes to fall out. Not with this one though. My lashes feel healthy and hydrated with this mascara on. Try it!!

This is the mascara I always come back to because it is the best all-around.....I have always (for years) received compliments on what gorgeous lashes I have when I use this mascara...it's simply the best for LENGTH (lashes reach eyebrows)and VOLUME (va-va-voom) without the clumps, nice separation, good staying power, easier to control the application than with many others, (for more natural look, barely tickle the lashes) one coat is all you need, but it can be layered beautifully, doesn't flake or smudge too easily, need to replace after a few months, but that's with any mascara...it's better than the more expensive brands....try it---you'll like it!

This is a great mascara...and the price is a bonus, too. I have tried very expensive mascaras such as Estee Lauder and Lancome for over 20 bucks each....and neither of those brands gave me the VOLUME that I was after. I am in my fifties, with thinning lashes and so it is VOLUME I am after. I keep coming back to L'Oreal's Voluminous because it gives me the thick look I want and it is priced so reasonably. Can't beat it!

I really like this product. It doesn't give me raccoon eyes, goes on easily without clumping - and when I use it with Tweezerman's fast Lash it really gives me fabulous lashes. I have tried dozens of mascaras and have been disappointed in most - but will definitely buy this one again.
