I really like how this mascara looks after first applying it, and I think it has help my lashes to be healthier. However, it does not last, and gradually flakes off throughout the day. Very disappointing. I wish they would work on the formula to allow it to stay fresh looking longer.

I have been trying to go with more healthy cosmetics due to my Mother having had Estrogen Receptor positive Breast cancer. I have done a lot of searching and this Mascara is very good for the added benefit of not having Lots of chemicals. If your looking strictly for the best cosmetic without the health issue it may not be for you-as it is not the smoothest formula but still nice. Waterproof works good and I also wear contact lenses and it doesn't bother them.

I had such high hopes for this mascara. I have short, sparse, blonde lashes that break off and fall out easily, so I had hoped this would be the answer. On the plus side, the brush is wonderful. It separated my lashes beautifully and seemed to add volume and length - I was thrilled with how it worked for me when I first put it on. Unfortunately, it crumbled, flaked and smudged throughout the day. I'm crushed. What a letdown when something that makes you look so good doesn't last.

Thought that I would only use this on special occasions but use it daily since it does not destroy my lashes and removes easily with my usual make-up remover.

I really wanted to like this mascara. It went on really nice. Good brush, gets at every lash. It was smooth and didn't clump at all. I left the house feeling really great about how it looked. That was until midmorning when I went to the bathroom and scared myself looking in the mirror. It looked like I had taken black shadow and drew a circle around my eyes. OK maybe not that bad, maybe grey shadow. Either way it was just plain awful. I live in a very dry climate but usually have a problem with my mascara bleeding. This mascara was by far the worst. I went home and threw it away.

I have been using this mascara for a year now and I have noticed my lashes don't fall out anymore and my eyes don't burn from using this mascara and my lashes look long and fuller. I just started using the waterproof and so far no smudges as with the regular version of this mascara.
