I have very fine, very thin, mostly straight hair, but I love obnoxiously big hair (I rock a beehive on occasion to give you an idea of what I mean), so it takes a lot of product and a lot of work to get any volume out of my hair. I use a root boost, dry shampoo, volumizing mousse, and a texturizing spray, (not all at once obviously) backcomb the bejeezus out of it using a volumizing hair spray, then finish with a finishing spray. I've worked this product into my routine a couple days a week and it's decent, but I'm not blown away by it. It may work great on someone with a different hair texture, but my results weren't spectacular. Not bad by any means, just not spectacular.

I have tried a few different powder volumizers, and this is as good as any of the others, and the price is great. I actually own a powder from A_____a which is also great, but I'd sweat it's the exact same product, it looks, feels, and works the exact same way. I like that it gives my fine, thin hair some grip to be able to style it how I want to, and it stays pretty good throughout the day.

I have used many other brands of this type of product with much success.

I needed some and had less money to spend this time. I tried it and love it!

I can usually get a second day from my wash by using this product. It keeps the roots up and keeps my hair my getting oily as it usually would without washing every day.

This stuff is my new favorite product. I just have to shake a little bit onto my part and I'm good to go for the day. Whenever my roots start looking a little flat I can just fluff it back up and not have to add any additional product!

I overused this product w/ horrible results - My fault but wanted to warn others not to do as I did. Powder is very tacky and stuck to my hair so badly I couldn't even comb through it without taking out chunks of hair. Used a whole bottle of conditioner before I could even begin to rinse it out. Product also filled my bathroom (and lungs) w/ clouds of tacky powder...

despite having thick curly hair, it tends to be rather fine at the front and crown. hairspray is hit and miss and i've tried many products to keep volume in these areas and avoid flyaway strays that tickle my face. i bought this stuff about a month ago and although skeptical, i can't sing it's praises enough. it doesn't weigh my hair down like hairspray (i've tried all kinds of sprays, too). i tap a little at the roots and fluff with my fingers. i'm not sure what it does, but picture atomic level jaggy bits that lock onto your hair strands and then interlock with one other. best part is if it goes limp (i'm at seven hours and it still is the same hold as this morning), just refluff and they relock.

don't be fooled by the lightweight canister (the powder is so fine, it's weightless), all you need is a tap, don't shake the whole can on your head. the only thing i would ask they'd change is the color (the powder is white and will show up on your scalp) to fit your hair color.

The instructions say to be careful when you open this product because powder could fly everywhere. I noticed it was a little lighter weight than expected and was disappointed when I found it to be practically empty. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT IF THEY ARE NOT GOING TO FILL THE BOTTLE AT LEAST 3/4 OF THE WAY UP. NEVER BUYING THIS PRODUCT AGAIN! I'll find something else.

If you have fine hair, this will give you a little strength, especially if you like a fuller style. I have used Alterna brand volume powder, which was great, however, this is much more affordable and gives the same result.
