I purchase a bottle from a local store since I ran out of OGX Ever Straight Brazilian Keratin Therapy Flat Iron Spray. I bought a bottle of Aussie Heat Protecting Shine Spray. I hated it! It made my hair sticky and tacky, as if I just sprayed styling hair spray onto my hair instead. There was even some white residues on my hair. I would not recommend this product. It was a waste of money. I threw the bottle away. Yes, it was that bad.

I usually end up using a few products (shine serum, leave in conditioner, hairspray, and protectant) when I straighten my thick, curly mixed-race mane. This product is a good addition to my collection of things that keep the damage to a minimum when I use the flat iron.

The other morning I discovered that this spray also works really nicely to keep my curls looking fresh, bouncy, frizz free, and defined after a day or two of not showering. I just wet my hair, spray the product liberally, brush it through, and let it dry on it's own.

This shine spray and protector I find makes my hair oily and just messy. You feel like you have to shampoo your hair again. I don't use it often as a result of this. I think if you have something special and you need to have shine the shine spray is good. But the protector isn't much.
