I have used facial hair removers for all of my adult life due to hormonal imbalance early in my teens. Even in my 60's I want to feel like a girly girl! This is by far the best thing I've used, despite the price. BUT, I never get results after 3 min. from any product. I use it as the directions read but I have to leave it on for 40 minutes on my chin( very course hair.) Rinse it off well with cold water and (important) pat on some witch hazel. In this way I am able to apply my vanica over the area without any burn. I was ready to give this a bad review when I saw the price but it is truly A+++ just like other Olay products. I'm an Olay girl and they're right here in Ohio. Kathy

In my case there wasn't noticeable facial hair removal. It irritated my skin to the point,it started to sting. I've used less expensive products, that worked far better.

This product works great for my facial hair. I have blonde hair that is light colored but there is quite a bit of it on my upper lip and around mouth. This takes it off without burning or causing my face to break out. It also lasts for 3-4 weeks.

Followed instructions, applied barrier then hair removal product to upper lip. Waited 7 min then removed .. Product worked, but my upper lip is still irritated and painful. Yeah, not using this product again.

I'm 22 years old and for the past few years I've been battling coarse little hairs popping up on my chin. I've tried just about every at home wax there is on the market but waxing always causes my skin to peel and get really irritated. I got to the point where tweezing was just taking way too much time out of my daily routine so I looked online for the best method to remove facial hair and this Olay product came up. Now I will say that this product is a bit pricey, however, I've reached a point in my young life where I just expect to pay more for a product that actually works. Its been three days since I tried this product and my skin is still perfectly smooth and the hair has stayed away. My tips for using this product: 1) Be sure to spread the balm beyond the area that you apply the hair removal cream because it will burn your skin if you miss a spot. 2) use plenty of the hair removal cream. If you don't completely coat the area it wont remove the hair evenly. 3) apply a moisturizer immediately after you clean your skin.
My only complaint about this product was that I'm pretty certain I'll have a bunch of the balm left and run out of the hair removal cream very quickly.

I am now 50 and have entered that phase of life where facial hair has become more noticeable. Have tried waxing, but it left little red bumps. I then tried this product by Olay and it was easy to use and actually worked. However, after about three days when I ran my hand over the area it kind of had a sandpaper feel due to fine hairs coming back in, but after a few more days it was just soft barely noticeable normal facial hair. It has been two weeks and everything still looks good. I will use again in another 2-3 weeks.

I have used all the other brands of hair removers and especially the ones for sensitive skin. This is the best. It has the skin protector to apply first and the hair remover doesn't even smell bad like the others. It removes the hair and leaves my skin silky soft but I have very sensitive skin and this does not irritate. I first bought it at the store and then for some reason couldn't find it and I was so glad I checked drugstore.com. I will never use anthing else.

I'm a first time user to facial hair removal because I had to finally come to my senses that it was definitely needed. I used this product that was recommended by a friend and it definitely did the job.
Application time frame is approximately every other week which I can bare with.
My skin is extremely sensitive and I did not have one break out at all using this product.

48 Hours Prior To Every Use: Read and follow warnings and directions carefully. Conduct 48-hour skin reaction test.
STEP 1: Prepare the skin
Apply Skin Guarding Balm
First, lightly swipe the Skin Guarding Balm only once across the middle of the areas you wish to treat. Important: apply a thin layer to ensure effective hair removal.
Massage Skin Guarding Balm
Use your fingers to massage the Skin Guarding Balm into your skin, going beyond the area you wish to treat. Massage for 20 seconds in a circular motion.
Effective massage ensures there is a thin layer to keep the Hair Removal Cream from coming in direct contact with your skin, while ensuring the balm doesn't overly coat any hairs you want to remove.
STEP 2: Remove the Hair
Apply Hair Removal Cream
Squeeze the Hair Removal Cream onto your fingertip (small grape size for upper lip treatment) and immediately smooth over the area to be treated (on top of the balm), covering it completely with a thick layer. Do not rub it in. Use only with the Skin Guarding Balm provided.
Wash hands immediately and thoroughly. Wait for 6-8 minutes. Leave on longer for thicker hair, but do not exceed 10 minutes.
