I have a 5 year old son with T1D. Testing has always been a struggle for us because of how long meters would take and the pain from constantly poking his little fingers. This meter is very quick and accurate and the test strips are very cheap (compared to some on the market). My parents bought my son a Genteel lancing device for his 5th birthday and it works great with the meter! Testing my sons sugars 6 times a day is no longer a struggle thanks largely due to his Genteel! I am so grateful for my son's True2go meter and Genteel! I would most definitely recommend both of these products to anyone with children (and even adults) who have been diagnosed with diabetes!

I've had this for almost 6 months. It's been off as much as 30 points. Sometimes I have to test my blood 2 & 3 times back to back because I don't trust it. Time to get a different one.

This is an excellent glucose meter. It is small and quite accurate. I still use my TrueResult meter at home, but this is an excellent backup. Several different colors are nice. The little holder that most kits have is better than the pouch/wallet. Reviews have shown this meter to be an excellent unit..among the big boys. CR and several sites have given this unit positive reviews.
