For applying eye shadow and touching up liner, I was looking for cotton swabs that would be denser and more compact, that would shed less and be more precise than regular swabs. But while the tips on these are nicely shaped, the cotton is too hard and inflexible. It's like using a plastic applicator, and I didn't like using them.

Great product to use to clean up make-up mistakes, manicure oopsies and anything that goes wrong! One end is pointed to allow for very detailed work, the other end is rounded for less specialized work. Economical and the plastic container makes it easy to keep anywhere.

I have fixed many a make-up smudge with a Q-tip - but never again! With the pointed tip great for the tiny touch for the eyelid or the flat tip to use cleaning up an eye shadow smudge I will never again deal with cotten lint getting on my eye lashes. This little helper does not shed, does not break-down while in-use, and lets you take care of the details. It is a great product for such a modest price!!!!
