This nasal spray is similar to Novartis's 4Way, which means it uses the same active ingredient as Neo-Synephrine, but also contains boric acid as an "inactive" ingredient. Boric acid is just the best anti-itch/pain reliever/skin soother there is, particularly for those of us for whom cortisone doesn't work. 4Way was never recalled, they apparently just stopped making it, but fortunately this is available. I was very concerned that it contains benzyl alcohol, which 4Way didn't, but that doesn't seem to interfere. It has been working just fine.
