I took one Cepacol, a couple of hours later I took my normal very small sleeping pill. Surprise I was awake all night until 5am! Then slept until mid pm the next day. I would recommend taking this medication during day time hours hours only. My sore throat did not change.
These are great if it hurts to swallow or talk. The topical anesthetic really does work. These aren't candies though - you can't suck one every ten minutes. I would also hesitate to give them to young children, but these have been a lifesaver for me on days that I need to work with a raw throat or hude painful tonsils.
