The texture of this cream deodorant is thick and has a white residue that needs to be rubbed in a bit. It comes in a pot with a little spatula for application. I thought it would work well, due to its texture. I don't mind that it is not convenient due to its application method. Unfortunately it somehow worked with my chemistry to create an odor that was worse than my normal smell. I only use natural deodorants due to skin irritation so I've tried MANY; I expect them not to work as well and not to do anything at all (of course) to prevent sweating but this is the first one I've tried that makes me smell worse. Kind of an oniony stank. It may just have different reactions for different people but I don't think I can even continue using this until it is finished, it is so ineffective on me.

I tell ya, I have spent a mint on natural deoderants and some work for awhile and then I'm back where I started. I am allergic to antipersperants, plus they are not good for you at all. Then I stumbled upon this. I put in on twice a week and have no odor whatsoever. Finally. Love this. And it lasts me 4 months!

I stink by 9AM if I use this, no matter how much I apply. I have tried several 'natural' deodorants lately and yes most are not as effective as aluminum containing conventional types, but this one does not work at all for me. Lavanilla at least lasts until the afternoon and the light scent covers up any stink.

You cannot believe how many deoderants I have tried and finally found one that works! I am allergic to antipersperants and find the deoderants don't work. Some of the natural deoderants work for awhile then stop working. But I have been using this for yrs. I only apply it once or twice a week. It is wonderful.

I find that this is the only all natural deodorant that actually works for me for a full 24 hours, no matter the weather, how much I sweat, etc. It works especially well when I apply the crystal-type of deodorant first, then apply this. When I wear the crystal alone, I get mixed results - and I haven't found another natural brand that even comes close to working for a full day. I know people have written negatively about the color, texture, and messiness of this product. Personally, none of that bothers me. I just apply the product to clean skin with my fingers. The only reason I haven't kept buying this product is because I can't afford to due to the cost. People say it lasts a really long time, but that's not the case for me with daily use. Perhaps I use too much, but I've experimented with it and I use as much as I've found necessary. I plan to experiment making my own homemade stuff plus using the crystal as a more affordable alternative. But when I want something that works and is convenient and portable, you can't beat this stuff.

This is the best deodorant that I have ever used. I put it on Monday morning after a shower and it lasts until the NEXT Monday! No more armpit rash, not annoying sticky feeling. This is a must try product. READ the instructions carefully so that you can find the right timing, ie is it 1x per week or maybe your athletic and it may be 2x every week.

I have been using this product for years. If I am going to engage in activity that could result in excessive perspiration, I add an anti-perspirant for wetness, but I typically use this product alone and remain odor-free. It does apply white, but the whiteness clears quickly, and I like the fact that I'm not using a product with aluminum.

Read and follow instruction for best results. The cream is very thick. I use enclosed spatula to scoop a pea size amount of deodorant cream and place it on finger tip, I then gently dot tap my underarm pit with my finger and gently tap spread that way. It will look white, but it won't transfer onto your clothing. My work uniform is black :-). I use it once a week and it works! The best part is, that it doesn't dry out my skin.

Awful. I was looking for something natural but I smelled so bad after using this product. Ughhh yuck. Wasted my money. I kept looking around wondering who smelled bad all week and then eventually realized it's ME and my natural deodorant!

I would absolutely never use this again. I as trying to go to more natural products for deodorant. This one is very friendly. But you will smell bad. I am a small woman and after a day of work smelled like a man who had worked on a farm all day. I was SO embarrassed at work. I could smell my body odor and could not wait to get home to wash. I followed the directions. I tried this for a week and have even re-applied as recommended but by Friday I smelled SO bad. Wasted money.
