I use this product each evening to negate the effects of the environment on my skin, including stress, heat, sweat, etc. I often use in the shower, letting the steam prepare my face. I've been looking for this kind of scrub for quite a while. Finally I have a replacement for the excellent French one I used to be able to get. Women shouldn't let the stuff about "prepares beard for shave" turn them away. This product's being made for men kept unneeded fragrances, coloring, etc. out and probably keeps the price down. My sensitive skin assures me that it's fine for daily use on thinner female skin. Most scrubs or polishers use agents that either don't work very well (e.g.,those waxy beads) or are too rough on skin for daily use ( e.g., ground apricot kernels and the like). I'm delighted to have found this and hope dermalogica keeps making it just the way it is. Ordered 3!

I first used this product after having a facial. I tried it. I have a habit of skipping cleansing, just giving my face a quick cleaning and forgetting. I LOVE using this product. Consistently using this has been so good for my skin. It softens and smooths, has a wonderful scent.
Use prior to shaving to clean and exfoliate skin. Apply to damp face and neck in circular motions. Concentrate on areas of oiliness and beard growth. Rinse with warm water. Can be used 2 to 3 times a week all over face.
