This is a wonderful product. I add some tree toil too the witch hazel and it makes the most amazing toner I've ever used. I used to suffer from severe acne. I was on accutane twice, once when I was 19, and again at age 26. Until just a couple of years ago, I constantly had to treat with a dermatologist to keep me face from erupting. But I've found some natural products that have given me beautiful skin for the first time in my life. My routine goes like so: First I pre-cleanse my face with jojoba oil. I pour about four drops on my palm and rub it onto my face for a couple of minutes. Sometimes I will then press a warm wet cloth against my face to bring out dirt/grime. Then I wash my face with a gentle cleaner. I do this morning and night. Second I use the witchhazel/tree tea oil toner. Third I use benzoyl peroxide. You won't need this if you are not acne prone. Fourth I use a face cream with glycolic acid. Aqua Glycolic and acne.org have good products. The glycolic acid encourages rapid skin growth and helps keep your skin clear. Supposedly it is a good anti-aging product. In the morning I then apply sunscreen, at least 50 SPF. If my skin still needs it, I apply moisturizer. At night I mix a couple drops of jojoba oil in my moisturizer. I don't add the oil in the morning because it's a little greasy. And my makeup won't stay on if I have jojoba oil on my skin. But the JO is an amazing make-up remover! This is the best regimen I have found - when I tell people who haven't known me for years that I used to have cystic acne, they can't believe it.

I got this product because of the great reviews it had. It didn't really do much for me except for making my skin feel fresh. But once it dried, my skin was really dry. And how my face reacted was overproducing oil which caused minor breakouts. The smell didn't bother me too much but I won't be buying this product again. It's nice to know it works amazing for other people but it dried out my skin horribly.

I really wasn't expecting much from a 100% witch hazel product at such a reasonable price--I usually buy much more expensive toners--but this did the trick. I use it to clean my skin when I don't have time to wash--in the a.m. before the gym or on a day when I'm not wearing any makeup. It doesn't dry out my skin or leave it feeling tight. I have combination skin, so I don't know how it would be on drier skin. It's just a simple, pure product.

I have used a lot of witch hazel in the past as toner for my combination and sensitive skin. This one works the best without irritating my skin or further drying out the dry skin on my cheeks and jaw. I personally like the smell but it does smell strongly of witch hazel which I know isn't something everyone likes. I'd recommend it if you're looking for a gentle toner or facial cleanser.

This is the one toner I will return to time and again. At first the smell can seem odd, but after a while it became very comforting/familiar. The extra ten seconds it takes to use this toner (after cleaning my face) shows a difference. There is usually some residual makeup/BB tint after cleansing, and using a cotton pad and this toner wipes it all off. Skin feels refreshed, clean, and ready for moisturizer. Love this product- so reliable, and it's even a better price than other toners that are less natural.

Bought this because Drugstore.com wasn't carrying Sea Breeze, and this was recommended as an alternate by DS.com- Opened the bottle, hated the smell, the greasy feel, and threw the entire bottle away.

I have tried every cleaning product under the sun for my skin, and by the end of the day, I always go back to Dickinson's witch hazel-Daily Facial Toner. It is so easy to use, and does a great job cleaning my skin and not over drying it. I use it morning and night. I have also found that I never break out when using this product. The only thing that it does not do well, is remover eye make - up and here I would recommend buying a special eye make-up remover. The other great thing is that it is not expensive at all to buy.
Remove protective inner seal. After normal cleansing, moisten a cotton ball and apply to your face in a gentle massaging motion. Gentle enough for daily use.
