Well constructed product BUT be sure you are ordering the size you want. I should have read the product details prior to purchase. When it said "3 cup" I was assuming it meant a 6 or 8 ounce cup. The product makes 3 - 4 ounce cups for a total of 12 ounces.

I'm a coffee freak. I like to buy my special beans and grind them myself.
Since I'm a coffee drinker and my husband is not, there is no point in my having a coffee maker; plus, drip coffee makers make weak coffee and since I have hard water in my area, a drip coffee maker would need constant maintenance for clogging.
Cons: I have found that if you grind your beans too fine, some will slip past the screen and end up in your cup. Also, it is made of glass and can break... so if you have klutzes in your home (or you are a klutz yourself), prepare to replace it regularly. You could use a plastic French press, but they stain and look disgusting.
I've been using the Bodum Brazil French Press for over ten years now; I keep about four on hand. It is convenient, fast and the coffee tastes so much better, IMO.
