I'm also not the most coordinated person on the planet. This product has enabled me (finally!) to learn how to straighten and style my own hair. It looks a bit greasy when it goes on but not after blow drying--it moisturizes and also works like a styling creme on my hair; the smoothing effect is long-lasting. My hair is dry and so I only wash it 2 times per week but the effect lasts. What an amazing product. Also, my skin is sensitive to a lot of products designed for frizzy hair. I've used this product about 7 times with no problem whatsoever. On the frizz-prone front, I add some of the Organix Argan Blow Out Creme. Despite being next to my face, this product caused no skin reaction either. I'm giving away all the other products beneath my sink that only worked so-so despite being pricier than this fabulous line. My hair is soft once dried, but that is about it. The other product I used helped my hair stay straight, soft, and shiny. I do not see the shine that the other product imparted. Plus, and maybe this could be a good thing, this product does not impart much of a fragrance. I remember how delicious my hair smelled with the other product. My husband would comment on it too. I have not been able to put it to the frizz test yet - I usually do that when I go home to Florida. I live in Colorado and the weather is very dry. Because of the dry weather this product does not help tame the static like the other product did. But for the price I will hold on to it for now. However, didn't like that argan oil was one of the last ingredients. My hair is absorbing other ingredients that don't appear very natural.

It has a rich scent that lasts me about 4 days provided I don't use an overpowering hair cream. It also makes my hair feel so soft and smooth.

If I put it in at night and put my hair in a bun it is straight by morning. It's not too heavy or too light for me, and it does not have an obnoxious smell (I just threw away one that was shipped to me by mistake because it gave me a headache).

I bought this oil based on the great reviews, expecting to see exceptional effects, but I do not understand what the fuss is about. It is no more efffective than tons of other products out there (at a variety of price ranges) aimed at combatting frizz and adding shine. It smells good. But it is no way exceptional in the way it works.
