This is not what I thought. It has no room in the middle to hold my hair. There was to much Elastic in the middle it's more of a hair band.

I ordered one of these head bands approximately a year ago from drugstore.com. Thankfully, the one they sent was pink, which is my favorite color, although ANY shade (except white) would have been fine with me.

My hair is short-to-medium length so I don't really "tuck" my hair into it as the image depicts; rather, it functions as an extra-wide head band that works perfectly to keep my hair off my face. I use this every night when I remove my makeup and cleanse my face, as well as in the shower to keep my hair protected on those "in-between shampoo" days.

I am very impressed with the construction and the quality of this head band. Like I said, I've had it for about a year, and it's held up perfectly throughout multiple washes. I only need to launder it 1-2 times per month and I let it air-dry afterwards; I would not put this in the dryer for fear of shrinkage or damaging the elastic.

For the great price, there's no reason not to try this head band! I plan on ordering a second one soon so that I have a spare. :)

This holds my hair back very effectively while I apply my makeup and also remove it.
The texture of the fabric and the elastics grips my head and my hair so stray hairs aren't coming loose and it's wide enough to hold all my hair back from my face and neck.
I washed it a couple of times by hand and it takes awhile to air dry. I find the dryer is too destructive to elastic fibers.
Four stars because: no choice of color, I got sent white, white stained and shows every cosmetic color, stains don't come out even with soak/hand wash. Also elastics broke when I stretched it out only just a little too much.

I LOVE these! They're great to pull hair back for make-up application or to use under a shower cap in the shower or bath. Even long hair gets tucked in to the hairband so no hair gets in the way. It doesn't mess up your hair-do either. I bought some for my sisters and myself because I can't find them anywhere but Drugstore.com.

Holds hair completely off of face and can tuck in shoulder length hair in back. Quick on and off and no velcro to catch on your hair. Perfect for face washing and putting on makeup. Machine washes easily. Better than any similar product I have ever tried.
