After suffering a sprained ankle and overusing ibuprofen i developed some stomache irritation so i switched to suppositories . It works great and fast. Ive also used it when i had a fever and convenient to insert following a backside temperature measurement . Used it for a headache also. Everything is a pro on this except sometimes if i havent gone to the bathroom i have to give myself an enema to lessen the chances of expelling before it had the chance to do its job.
I previously used Acetaminophen tablets as one of several marginally effective treatments for a condition involving chronic (still largely uncontrolled) rect al pain and inflammation. I thought a suppository might deliver more of the effect locally, but previously thought Acetaminophen suppositories were unreasonably priced. Since these were reasonably priced, I tried them. The 650mg suppository dose does seem to be moderately more effective than the larger dose by tablet that I had been using. Con: It is difficult to tear the individual wrapping far enough to extract the suppository without breaking or crushing it.
