I use them just prior to injecting insulin, and they work well enough for that, but they have recently changed these from a cottony-type material, to this slipperier material. I noticed it right away...completely different feel. It slides open; I've adjusted my grip to compensate, and the new material seems to hold the alcohol just as well as the old cottony material, but I liked the old material better.

They've changed these for the worse!

I used to use these to do a quick wipe off my face when at work or on the road - sort of like an individually wrapped Stridex pad. The "old" cottony material was great for this. I'd been buying these for years. Curad recently switched to a new material that's more plasticy feeling. It absolutely doesn't work as well. I will no longer buy these!!!

I've tried both Rite Aid and Curad alcohol swabs. I've found the Rite Aid brand to be much moister. Compared to Rite Aid, the Curad brand seemed dry.

I keep a few of these in my wallet and use them in restaurants to clean my hands after holding the sticky menu. I'm not a germ-a-phobe, but why take a chance? They work great on phones and computer keyboards...yeah I guess I'm a germ-a-phobe.

These are the worst. Sure, it is convenient to carry individual alcohol wipes. However, the quality of this brand it atrocious. I buy individually wrapped alcohol wipes all the time because I have a child with diabetes. This brand is thin and dry compared to other brands (including store brands) that cost less.

I found the individual packets great for all sorts of different uses. I put some in each of our cars, the garage with the mowing equipment, and the bathroom. My husband used them for cleaning electronics. I used them for the multiple cat scratches I get from our six cats. My mother used them after mowing. We found them very useful -- especially since they're individually wrapped.

I think the Curity Alcohol Swabs are a great product. They were easy to use to clean cuts and scrapes on a screaming three-year-old. I also found them convenient for sticking a few in my purse and diaper bag for cuts that occur when we're away from home. I also restocked all my first-aid kits with these. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this product to family and friends.

For those of you who use a cotton ball or an old cloth and have tried to pour alcohol on it -- only to find it runs down on everything, this is the solution. Plus, after seeing the articles on TV about the bacteria on a cloth, why do we bother with adding more bacteria? Which only helps the cut or scrap stay infected longer or not heal as quickly? Not only are the Curity Alcohol Swaps sterile, they're easy to use.
