I think this is great for removing stains, but it contains animal fat instead of vegetable fat. I've used it in my homemade laundry detergent recipe, and it does work well. I hope to find something without animal products in it as a substitute. I would recommend it to anyone who isn't concerned about animal by-products in their soap, but it's not for me.

i had heard of this stuff in the past but had never used it before, wow I'm glad I did. I grated a little into an extra dirt load of clothes and the outcome was amazing! I will definitely be buying more of this in the future. The smell isn't fantastic but it's not bad by any means. If you're looking for a good stain stick or a little boost for extra dirty clothes you should try this.

We live in the country and no matter how hard we try, there's always some poison ivy which my husband is very susceptible to. If he washes ASAP with good ol' Fels Naptha, 9 times out of 10, the rash will not appear. We also use it to wash his workclothes to get rid of any toxins. It's a standby at our house and so good to find it at Drugstore.com!

I have sensitive skin and all the perfumes and chemicals in regular laundry detergent are very iritating to me, not to mention how expensive they are these days. I now mix Fels-Naptha with Borax, and Arm & Hammer Super Washing Soda. All products work great! and I love that I'm saving money.
