This seems to be a product people either love or hate it. My fine, wavy hair tends to look dry and frizzy right after I wash it. With this conditioner, I've been able to eliminate my anti-friz serums I have to use after washing.It DOES leave my hair sleek and shiny. I am guessing if your hair tends to get greasy easily, this wouldn't be the product for you.
The conditioner I typically use is only available at a store 30 minutes from me, so sometimes I have to buy products from local stores until I have time to run and get it. I decided to try this conditioner and deeply regret it. It left a thick, greasy layer on my hair. When I first noticed it, I thought maybe it was just REALLY good and I didn't need to use my serum with it, so the next day I went without my serum. Nope, still caked with residue. I'd pass on this one.
I have very thick and wavy layered hair that tends to get very frizzy and "poofy" after washing. I've tried many smoothing shampoos and conditioners, including salon formulas, and this is the only one I've found that really does smooth down and tame the frizz. To be honest I haven't really noticed much extra shine, but the "sleek" lasts until my next shampoo. Both the shampoo and conditioner get Thumbs Up from me!
i noticed a difference the minute I added this to my wet hair in the shower. it felt silky and added a good slip to it. Will repurchase. The ingredients are also good for the hair. no mineral oils or drying alcohol's
I have uncolored dark blonde hair that is extremely thick, healthy & I tend towards an oilier scalp. I wash my hair daily because I have a short cut & like to keep my scalp super-clean. I find this works better than any other brand. I've used a million over the years, looking for "the one" that is the perfect conditioner. This prevents static, tames the little stick-up pieces in my short cut that come out if I don't use conditioner, makes my hair soft, doesn't weigh it down, doesn't create build-up, rinses nicely & the smell is pleasent but not overwhelming. My hairdresser tells me my hair is the strongest, thickest & shiniest he ever gets to work with. Since I use the entire Sleek & Shine line, I give partial credit at least to Garnier Fructis!
