I have been using this product for years, but this new reformulation is so bad. It smells like bug spray and the odor lasts for hours. The new hole dispensers (smaller holes, placed very close together) make it very difficult to gauge how much product is being dispensed, leading to overuseage. The gel takes forever to dry and remains sticky for several minutes. Who cares that the product claims to last for 48 hours? I just want it to dry quickly, smell pleasant and last for only one day. Bad concept.

Mitchum Clear Gel Deodorant is great!! Long lasting, smells neutral, goes on clear, leaves no marks on clothing or skin, good for wear during exercising and yoga, and keeps you smelling great even during humid summer days. Love, love, love this deodorant. Definitely recommend for anyone who perspires easily and is looking for an effective, long lasting deodorant.

I have been using Mitchum since I was pregnant with my son in 1989. I had a hard time finding an antiperspirant/deoderant that would work. My mom told me that when she was pregnant she had the same problem and to try the Mens Mitchum. I did and I never had body odor again throughout my entire pregnancy. Once I had my son, the Men's Mitchum didn't work for me anymore. So I switched to the Mitchum for women. I hypothesised that the reason it was no longer working were hormonal, so I thought perhaps the ladies would work better.

WOW!! It works fantastic. I am now disabled and can only shower 1 time per week with light sponge baths inbetween. I don't have to put on any more deoderant and when I was in the hospital for 3wks it worked the whole 3wks as I had nothing but sponge baths mainly being washed in the private female areas along with my face and back. No underarm washing ever occured. I still smelled great.

I will continue to use Mitchum for the rest of my life. I will most never give it up.

Side Note: I lived in England with my husband, who is from their, and our son after we got married in CA. I had my mother shipping me Mitchum because there was nothing like it there. Prior to even getting married, my hubby had a perspiration problem that required prescription Antiperspirant/deoderant. I sent him a box with 6 Mitchum Clear Gel Antiperspirant/deoderants in it and he hasn't swithched either.

I bought this product in search of a perfect deodorant, one that I could rely on. I have tried Dove, Suave, Lady's Choice, Degree, Secret, Lady Speed Stick, nearly everything. I bought this, adding on to my list, and I was extremely disappointed. First of all, the smell isn't that great, but I assume it's better than the Powder Fresh version. I can't stand baby powder smelling deodorant. The scent is a little sour and very artificial. Initially it went on clear, but shortly after it started to flake off. It made my underarms sticky and uncomfortable. I did use the whole product because I don't have a lot of money to throw away, but I will say I'm not ever going to buy this again. Maybe I used too much of it or maybe it's just my body chemistry, but this product did not work for me at all.
