I use this for my frail 75-yr-old mother who has dementia and has trouble sitting down properly. With assistance, she can use the toilet easier than before.
If it were just her, I would have gotten a commode chair instead, but my father lives with me too, and he didn't want to have to use it too. This was the compromise.
