It is my first on-line shopping in drugstore, however, it is a gravely awful experience.
The four bottles of Enfamil Poly-vi-Sol, which I plan to use in the next two year, will soonly expire on Sep 2015. It means that three bottles will be discarded after several months for the reason of expiration.
What shold I do? What should Drugstore do ?
If Drugstore could not resolve the problem, I believe that I will never shop in Drugsore.

Strong medicine smell of the product. My son took his first poly-vi-sol by mouth without any difficulties when he was born. Now he is six months old and I need to mix with the milk otherwise he is not taking the vitamin.

Baby will not take this stuff from the dropper, and frankly, I don't blame him. This stuff smells gross, totally stains everything, and must taste bad too since my baby had no problems with the tri-vi-sol. I would find an alternative product.

I tasted the product prior to administering it.

Con Effect: It was tart in taste and smelled like iron.

Pro Effect: It does deliver the 9 main vitamins need for healthy development in children. That impacts the Central Nervous System, Immune System, Bones etc... It can be mixed with juices or foods and it is undetectable when the food is consumed.

Observation: My children seem more focused and seem to sleep better.

When comparing having a smidgen of staining vs. my children's health. Soiled clothing is nothing in comparison to my children's well being. Although to eliminate staining and or tart taste, I mix the vitamins in fruit juices or food.

If I have to administer orally, I insure to place plastic over their shirts to avoid staining. Now there you go, stain problem solved.

Enclosing: The product all in itself does provide the daily (vitamin) supplements required that food may lack, due to depleted vitamins caused by additives being added, preservatives, artificial sweeteners, artificial flavors, hormones in meat, pesticides and over processing

So isn't a stained shirt worth it to insure your child receives the necessary vitamins and minerals needed for healthy development?

Agreed that they smell and taste terrible right from the dropper, but we put them in a bottle of pumped breast milk and our three-month-old takes them no problem. We can only smell them when dispensing them--I haven't noticed any lingering odor. We've had no other problems with them. They are kind of pricey, though, so we've been trying to find a generic brand.

My preemies spent nearly 3 months in the NICU. This product was not only recommended, but required as part of their discharge from the hospital. I have been using it for nearly 2 months, and don't see a difference in how much formula they take with or without it! And, they're growing!!!

Even though this does not have a lot of different vitamins, it's a great start. It gives you a little piece of mind that your child is getting what they need after formula. Mix it in a little juice to hide the vitamin taste!
