I bought this cane specifically for an upcoming trip to Europe. I did not want a folding cane, since I would be using it all the time while out walking. After 10 weeks of daily use in Italy, I came home very happy with it. It is very lightweight and easy to manipulate. The handle is cushioned just enough to avoid being bulky, yet easy enough on the hand, despite a couple of hours of solid walking. It fit just right in the overhead bins of 8 different aircraft (RyanAir, Alitalia, Vueling, KLM and AirFrance). I added a carabiner to the handle and was able to secure it to either a seat or my daypack, so that it stayed put on buses, trains and in restaurants. It provided the stability I needed while walking on cobblestones and uneven terrain. Finally, the Amber/yellow tone was both stylish and visible. Scuffs didn't show as much on it than on the blue Hugo that I owned before this one.
