I wrote two positive reviews of this product in 2012. In 2013 the company changed the product from pure elderberry concentrate to a blend of fruit juices with hardly any elderberry....see other negative reviews for details.

This is now nothing but money wasting junk. Do not buy it.

I probably wouldn't take this, if I had arthritis, or another auto-immune disease, but it is great for battling colds.
These are generously-sized bottles.
Adult dosage is two tablespoons, daily.
The label says to refrigerate, after opening.

Bought 2 bottles of this thinking this is such a great value. Kept taking it daily until the family got hit with a cold and so I gave double doses for everybody. After 3 days, I realized the double doses were totally ineffective and that the elderberry concentrate might as well be apple juice! It's completely useless against any kind of normal illnesses. Not recommended at all. You are better off spending your money on anything else.

The product indredients have CHANGED. BEWARE. The ingredients list is as followed: Apple juice concentrate, Grape juice concentrate, citric acid, elderberry juice concentrate, natural flavors, sodium benzoate, and potassium sorbate.

Shame. :(

This is supposedly a natural anti-viral dietary supplement,
and hard to get-ahold-of.
The quantity was quite generous.
It is tasty, when properly taken, diluted with water.

Caveat: I almost never leave five stars on any product. I seek quality first, then affordability. This item offers both. Very tasty. I add 30g to my morning smoothie. I try to get most of my nutrients from food. Several TV doctors have supported this product as possibly supporting immunity, or resistance to cold and flu virus. So I am using it every day during flu season to find out, if in my opinion, there is any truth to this.

I have been using this for several months and have stayed healthy while all around me have gotten sick. However, this morning, I happened to look at the ingredients on the label of the bottle I have in my refrigerator, and to my (unpleasant) surprise, things like grape concentrate, apple juice, sodium benzoate, etc are listed. ??????? I swear that my first several bottles did not have these ingredients in them. Funny thing too is that I have tried to google the manufacturer, Natural Sources, and can't find any info on this company. Drug Store and all other sites that sell this product need to research this and get to the bottom of it. Seems like Natural Sources is advertising one thing, but selling something else!

We have been taking 1 tablespoon of this elderberry concentrate per day for a few years. I put it in smoothies or in a cup of tea. You can drink it from the spoon also if you wish! It would make wonderful pancake syrup but you only need 1 Tablespoon and it would be awfully expensive used as syrup.

Neither of us has had a flu shot for several years. ALSO, neither of us has had a cold or the flu in the years we've been taking Natural Sources elderberry concentrate. I used to get heavy colds about twice a year. Nor more. Would not do without my elderberry!!!!
