Whereas other Spinbrushes have dual sets of bristles (circular and oval); this model has only the smaller circular set. I spent more time and vigor brushing because I could tell the "tooth coverage" and cleaning job the brush was doing was not as effective. In addition, the brush neck was so slim it seemed "spindly" or fragile.

OK, I bought the spinbrush because I wanted a lightweight, easy to travel with, effective brush for sensitive teeth. I like the fact that it has no large, ugly charger base, but the jury is still out on whether or not the batteries last. It does seem to clean well--sometimes the larger mechanical brushes do not get to all the smaller spaces--but it is louder than my old brush (which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5). The design is nice also--sleek without crevices to collect toothpaste scum!
