This relaxer is good only if your hair needs super strength. Regular strength or mild may work better depending on your hair texture. For the most part you can't put a relaxer in hair that has a perm or wave noveau, you have to let it grow out first. Hair should be looked at by a beautician first to make sure it is not breaking or shedding.

This is the best product I have used in the past 2years. I used to use other product but they never straightened my hair, then I shifted to Dark and Lovely, which is still working wonders for my hair, even though it has grown much longer.

I would say this product is unique. I tried other products but they didn't work the way I expected. When I tried this product, it worked so perfectly well. My hair was so relaxed and no damage was done. I recommended it to my mother and sisters and today, we still use it. We are happy.

I used this relaxer last year, and it worked absolute wonders on my completely frizzy and unruly perm. I just used it again, tonight, and I can't believe the horrible results - my hair is falling out, breaking, etc. I will never purchase this product, again. I suggest using only 1/2 the application (regardless of how long or thick your hair is), of the REGULAR strength first.

I usually use a lye relaxer, but since I've gone to college and have no car this was the closest I could get to a relaxer that I could apply myself and have sent directly to me. This product is easy to use and convenient. I couldn't imagine not being able to put a comb through my hair in college.

This relaxer is wonderful, better than anything else I have ever tried, My hair is very prone to breaking because I highlight it and blow dry it every day. I haven't lost one hair while relaxing my hair and it's shinny and bone straight, I love it and recommend it, it doesn't stink, it's not greasy, it washes away completely and it lasts. It has a bottle of shampoo and conditioner, and it is not expensive. You don't smell like relaxer for a week either! You will love it!
