I'm a Nurse Practitioner and found that the device works very easily as long as you read the instructions. Do that and you can't go wrong.

I used these sticks when we were TTC our first child, and they worked so well that I am using them again to try for number 2. I tried the disposable ovulation tests, but they just weren't as reliable as the monitor...it learns your cycle, tells you when to test, and is a great tool if you are not sure of when you ovulate. I also like that it keeps track of what day of the cycle you are on, and gives you a heads-up when you are nearing the end of it.

The Clear Blue Easy Fertility Monitor and test sticks are expensive - but worth the price. I had tried other ovulation tests without success. After more than a year of trying to get pregnant, we got a positive pregnancy test after tracking my fertility for only four months with this device.

So far so good. There is actually nothing else out there like it to buy. I have just got to the point of testing, it's been very easy to use. I look forward to what it will tell me the next day. Tried this after a friend recommended. It helps track your cycle, which is a huge benefit for those who don't have regular cycles like me. It's more cost effective to use the strips and the reader, simply because you don't test as many days, and fewer tests fail.
