I HAD A NORELCO SHAVER FOR SIX YEARS BEFORE BUYING THIS ONE MAINLY BECAUSE THE ROTARY BLADES ON THE OLD ONE WERE WEARING OUT AND JUST ALMOST AS CHEAP TO BUY A NEW ONE THAN THE REPLACEMENTS. ANYONE EXPECTING AN ELECTRIC SHAVE TO BE THE SAME AS A "NEW BLADE" SHAVE IS NOT GOING TO GET IT. BUT THE CONVIENCE OF THE ELECTRIC SHAVE FAR OUT WEIGHS THE CLOSER CUT OF A "NEW BLADE".

I have been buying Norelco Triple Head Razors for 20+ years- this one is buy far the quietest and gives a super close shave. I like the fact it warns you when charging is low, and full charge time takes only 1 hour fro 50 minutes of shaving time.

While this runs quietly, it seems a bit anemic. Takes a long time to shave. Must use other hand to 'stretch' my skin or shaver doesn't cut well. Even then the shave is not as close as my old basic Remington. Trimmer doesn't cut sharp line at bottom of sideburn. Sending it back.

I have been using blades for over 15 years. While I was in the military there just werent any good options for power razors and just became accustomed to having to use a blade to get a good shave.
Not anymore. This shaver does the job right, getting all the stubble, even along the hard to shave chin line and neck. I can do in two minutes what used to be a whole ordeal that took around 10. Save time and money on expensive disposable razors.
also, this thing is so quiet I had to question it was even working correctly, believe me it was and works great wet or dry!

I've never really used electric razors, never get all the hair and take just as long as using a regular razor to get all the hair. This is the first electric razor I've used that one pass and gets most hair without leaving stubble. This is great because I can shave in the shower in the morning or when I need a quick blast in the morning. Works great dry or wet. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a new electric razor.
