I agree with the last review. I have used the CBEFM for 2 months and have not yet conceived. I've BDed on both peak days during month #1 and 3 high days and the 2nd peak day on month #2. I do think the monitor is accurate at detecting the lh surge. What I am confused about is WHEN ovulation occurs AFTER the lh surge - is it really 36 hours?? In month #3 I'll be sure to BD on ALL high and peak days, including the high day after the 2 peak days since ovulation occurs after the lh surge. I too read all the reviews of those who have conceived in the first month and second month but because this has not been the case for me, it's a little harder to be as enthusiastic. Being realistic about TTC and using this product still seems like the right thing to do. The monitor did help me pick up my late lh surge in month #2. Had it not been for the CBEFM, I would never have known O occurred a week later than I expected. I don't think the monitor is expensive given the fact that you can use it more than one time in conceiving. It's an inexpensive product that sure beats the heck out of fertility treatment or even a doctor's visit which can cost well above $200 for one visit.

The first month that I used this, I followed the directions exactly. It gave me a low fertility level until day 22, when I got two days of high fertility, and then it dropped back down to low and never got to peak. According to the instructions, this means that I did not ovulate, so I assumed that I could not get pregnant that month. BUT, my period never showed up and it turned out that I did get pregnant that month, and I am now 6 weeks along. Most of the reviews seem to say that people got pregnant using this the second month, so maybe it just takes a month to figure out your personal hormone levels. Beware that it is inaccurate the first month!

I am so glad that I purchased this monitor because it is so easy to use, it is accurate, and it lessens the stress of determining ovulation. I just want to say, however, that I've been using the monitor now for seven months (trying on our own with OPKs for four months prior to buying the CBEFM), and I haven't conceived yet. I have a "peak" today, so I am planning on this being "the month!" :) :) :) I am just writing because I want to encourage ladies who are looking to purchase the CBEFM to have realistic expectations. My cycles are very regular, I ovulate every month (I've even seen a reproductive endocrinologist who confirmst this) and there is no reason that my husband and I should not be able to conceive (we passed all of our tests with flying colors!). The RE says we will likely conceive on our own without the need for treatments or medication - so I've been hoping every month for a positive test. I will continue to use the CBEFM because I think it is a fabulous product, but I just wanted others to be aware that you may not get your positive result in the first month or two like many people do. Just be realistic! :) Best wishes to everyone and I would highly recommend the CBEFM.

I was hesitant to purchase this product because of it's price, but we had been trying for several months with no luck. With this product, we were able to find out exactly when ovulation happened and got pregnant on the first try!!! This is worth every penny!

This product is great! My husband and I had only been trying to conceive for 2 months before we purchased this. I am 31 and figured a little help couldn't hurt and may ease some anxiety. At first, it was a bit discouraging and tiresome because I had to pee on the sticks for like 16 days, however on day 15, I got 2 bars (relief), then on day 16 it was peak. We conceived using it the first time. On average it takes 50% of healthy couples 3 months to conceive, so perhaps it was that. I think it is probably a combination of factors, one of which was Divine Intervention, another of which were simple odds, and, of course, the fertility monitor that helped guide us towards when we should try based on when I ovulated. I spoke to a friend last week who lives in another state. She is 32 and informed me that she also purchased this product and became pregnant after 2 or 3 cycles with the help of the monitor. I am now 3.5 months pregnant and we are very happy about this...minus the nausea of course ;-) I wish you well.

I am 36, miscarried in Dec 07 (was our first pregnancy). After we got the go ahead to start trying again, my BBTs were all over the place, no discernable pattern. I read tons of reviews on the monitor and decided to buy it - being 36, we couldn't waste any time. It worked as expected telling us high and peak fertility, I did use the dip method instead of in stream for accuracy. Literally our second month of using it, I got pregnant. I am now 8 weeks pregnant and so thankful for this product. If you are even considering it, buy it! It works!

I¿m 36 and tried getting pregnant on my own for two cycles. After two cycles, I got anxious, as too many of my friends were having problems conceiving after a year or more. I therefore decided to use this monitor for my third cycle. The monitor worked and on the fourth cycle (after 3 months) I got pregnant. My cycles are pretty regular, so to this day I sometimes question whether the product helped me get pregnant more quickly. However, since I was already getting very anxious about the possibility of not being able to conceive, getting information on my ovulation cycle was a welcome idea. The monitor did what it was intended to do¿ confirm to me that I was indeed ovulating and identify the days that I was ovulating. It brought me peace of mind, so it was worth the money. Today I am 5 months pregnant expecting a baby girl¿ Good luck to all ladies trying to conceive! P.S. I read a professional article that claims that the use of a monitor of this type usually results in conceiving a boy. Interesting...

I was also one of those skeptics that promised to myself that if this monitor actually worked, I would write a review. So here I am at 4am after I got my positive preg test and I'm shaking because I can't tell my husband yet, he's sleeping. We used the monitor for two months. The first month, we missed our high and peak window. The second month, we took advantage of one peak day and one high day. I can't believe that it took only one month of using it right for it to work! This monitor is definitely worth every penny, do not think twice about this purchase if you're trying to conceive! A true miracle!

I find the product very easy to use and it seems to be dedecting my ovulation days. I have been using it for 5 months now, but I am still not pregnant. At this point I do not know if there is something wrong with the product and our timing for conceving or if there is something else going on. Based on the other reviews it seems like this product works for others. Hasn't worked for me yet.

Why waste months of guessing when you've ovulated when you can know for sure? I have irregular cycles and my ovulation day changes every month. Before we even started trying to conceive I bought this monitor on the recommendation of a friend and it worked on the first try! We have a beautiful baby boy and I have told all of my friends who are trying to have a baby to buy this monitor. Love it Love it Love it.
