I bought this, one day, for no special reason other than finding it in a bin marked down and I liked it that it was natural. I had been having NO luck with any toothpaste whitening my teeth, and frankly had given up the search. You know how, after you brush, you do a quick flash check of your teeth in the mirror before walking away. Well......I had to do a double take. I couldn't believe how much whiter my teeth were, and after only one brushing. Now keep in mind, teeth whitening had not even entered my mind, with this toothpaste. I've tried the other Tom's flavors since, without getting these results, so I would really recommend this very one. I have not tried any of Tom's that touts whitening, though. I'm so sold on this one, I won't be changing toothpastes again.

I have an anise flavored toothpaste that I love, a fluoride free toothpaste I'd found at a natural foods store. When they quit stocking it, I tried their new kind. It didn't taste as good, at all. I then ordered it online. When I saw this online, I thought I'd try it. No way is the flavor comperable. Nature's Gate Creme de Anise with baking soda and anise oil takes the prize. It's so good that I ordered seven of them for stocking stuffers for my grown children. I'm just looking for a fluoride toothpaste that tastes good. This isn't it.
Comments about Tom's of Maine Propolis & Myrrh Natural Fluoride Free Toothpaste, Fennel, 5.5 oz:
I love the fennel taste and the way this paste cleans my teeth. I have also received positive feedback on the health of my teeth from my dentist. If you don't like fennel or anise, you probably won't like the taste.
Comments about Tom's of Maine Propolis & Myrrh Natural Fluoride Free Toothpaste, Fennel, 5.5 oz:
For some strange reason, this is the only toothpaste that I have ever found that actually encourages me to brush longer! If you are bored of minty flavors, try this. It seems to have a slightly licorice spice to it, so if you really can't stand licorice or anise (really it is slight) you might not like it.
Comments about Tom's of Maine Propolis & Myrrh Natural Fluoride Free Toothpaste, Fennel, 5.5 oz:
Mint irritates the inside of my mouth and makes me sneeze so I am always looking for a Mint Free Toothpaste. Not easy to find. Tom's Propolis & Myrrh leaves my mouth feeling fresh and does not irritate my gums and tongue. I love it!!
Comments about Tom's of Maine Propolis & Myrrh Natural Fluoride Free Toothpaste, Fennel, 5.5 oz:
This is a great product that I use daily. My 7 year old daughter likes it, too. It cleans, leave your mouth feeling fresh and the fennel taste last a long time. Freshens the breath... overall great product!

Comments about Tom's of Maine Propolis & Myrrh Natural Fluoride Free Toothpaste, Fennel, 5.5 oz:
I tried this toothpaste flavor because Indian friends serve some kind of fennel-flavored candy or dried leaves/bark after serving spicy meals. These are surprisingly refreshing and cleansing to the palate. So when I spotted the Propolis and Myrrh toothpaste on the Drugstore.com website, I purchased a couple of tubes immediately. It took a while to get used to brushing my teeth with a fennel-flavored toothpaste. But now, I favor this over Tom's Wicked Fresh toothpaste in Icy Mint! The fennel taste is very subtle and leaves a good taste in my mouth. I like this a lot and plan to continue using it for my dental hygiene regimen.
