Indications
SleepRight® dental guard protects teeth and dental work from clenching and grinding.
Warnings
Do not use if you are under 18 years of age; have TMJ; have teeth or jaw pain; or if the dental guard is broken or damaged. Do not use for more than 12 hours in a 24 hour period. Not for use with dentures, braces or other dental appliances.
Do not use for more than 3 months from the initial use without consulting your dentist. Ask a dentist before use if you have loose fillings, loose caps, or unfilled cavities; jaw clicking or pain, teeth pain, face pain, difficulty chewing, mouth sores, gum disease or bleeding gums, or serious respiratory problems. While using the product, see your dentist at least every 6 moths.
Stop use and see a dentist if you develop loose teeth or a change in your bite; experience pain or other irregularity; the product easily falls out of your mouth or causes you to gag; you develop bleeding gums, soreness, or other reaction inside your mouth.

THE LARGE SIZE IS TOO SMALL
I purchased the largest size that this product comes it and set it at the largest setting and it still was uncomfortable and fell out of my mouth.

I tried it because it didn't have any of the bad plastic chemicals but it didn't do me much good cause I couldn't wear it. Very disappointed. And I have a small mouth according to my dentist so I could not recommend this product for anyone. I considered it a waste of my money. I hope it works better for others...but this is my review...

I have trouble sleeping with these in mouth; movements wake me up. This is the best one I've found. Good ergonomics, just doesn't quite fit my mouth. But it's vastly more comfortable than the full bite type. One wing on mine feels too thick. I like the easy adjustment.

I found the bite pads on this guard to be too thick. I have TMJ issues that kick in when I open my mouth to a certain point. This guard makes me open my mouth to that point & creates soreness after wearing it a few minutes. In order to keep it in place, I have to bite down. If I relax my jaw, it moves around. But everyone is different. This guard just isn't for me.

I started clenching my teeth at night right after my son was born. Apparently the lack of sleep was getting to me. I got this dental guard and it's helped alleviate some of the intense pain I started having in my jaw and face. I had sharp pain up into my temples and knew something was NOT right. I wanted to try a cheaper solution before heading to the dentist and this seems to have done the trick.
It's not bulky, you don't have to boil it and it has just enough protection between upper and lower teeth to cushion them at night and keep the pressure to a minimum. I still clench, but the resulting pain is greatly diminished.
I'd definitely recommend this an easy, low-profile dental guard.

I have purchased very expensive mouth pieces to keep from grinding my teeth at night. This product is very inexpensive. It is adjustable to fit any size. Wearing a mouth guard to sleep is a nightmare, but this product makes it doable! The mint flavored guard is nice.
